	City life means being stuck in vertical structures. Getting up on places which enable a 360 degree view got a recreational ritual in contrast to everyday life in valleys of buildings. polyxenic series # 1 is a choreography with a strict ruleset including movements to the compass directions North, South, East and West. On top of a container in the middle of an old airfield the ritual of enjoying the horizontal view gets abstracted. The performer create a rhythm in form of a canon with their movements. The repetitive sequence demystifies and abstracts the ritual of enjoying the horizontal view. 	Uraufführung der NSEW-Choreographie polyxenic series #1 im Rahmen von impulstanz am Flugfeld Aspern. Nach intensiver zweiwöchiger Arbeit einer Gruppe von internationalen TeilnehmerInnen aus dem Bereich Tanz, Kunst und Architektur wird ein großes Areal des ehemaligen Flugfelds Aspern, das an den Tarkowski Film Stalker erinnert, Samstag 30. 8. und Sonntag 31. 8. 2011 ab 21:00 bespielt. Dabei werden Arbeiten gezeigt, die im Rahmen des Choreographer's Venture von Daniel Aschwanden vor Ort entstanden sind. > impulstanz programm

	Metropolen Brasiliens und Los Angeles im Fokus der Serie NSEW-desire bei der artmart - Eröffnung 16. 11. 2010 13.00 Künstlerhaus, Karlsplatz 5, 1010 Wien. Die Werke entstanden im Rahmen von Reisen zu Ausstellungen, Konferenzen und Festivals im Zusammenhang mit der kartographischen Arbeit 4816 und NSEW, als auch während der Artist Residency in Rio de Janeiro 2010. Der Grossteil dieser Reisen wurde hier bereits dokumentiert. 	The latest developments of the NSEW-idea are covered in an article by Ramon Bauer and Evamaria Trischak in the Art & Cartography Special Issue of The Cartographic Journal. November 2009. Volume 46, Number 4 of Maney Publishing, an official publication of the International Cartographic Association by The British Cartographic Society. The Issue holds many interesting articles in the field including texts by Sébastian Caquard, Barbara Piatti and William Cartwright. 	Die bevorstehende Präsentation von 4816 / NSEW hat auch das Interesse der Österreichischen Botschaft in Santiago de Chile erweckt, die auf ihrer Website auf die Veranstaltung verweist. Derzeit laufen die Vorbereitungen auf den Santiago-Besuch, der dankenswerter Weise durch das bm:ukk unterstützt wird. Mit Hilfe eines ortskundigen wurden bereits die GPS-Minutenschnittpunkte in Santiago de Chile durchbesprochen, wobei einige lohnende Ziele darunter sein dürften. ->> > Österreichische Botschaft Santiago de Chile

	Evamaria Trischak was invited to present 4816 and NSEW at the International Cartographic Conference 2009 in Santiago de Chile, 15th - 21st November 2009. 	nun auch gleich noch die fotostory für die exkursion '4816: search & enjoy', die im rahmen des deutschen geografentags am 24. 9. 2009 in wien stattgefunden hat. vorwiegend deutsche exkursionsteilnehmenden gelang es dabei, den langzeitrekord von 90 % gefundenen gps-minutenschnittpunkten in wien auf 91,35 % zu erhöhen! der einsatz umfasste neben wienerwald abenteuer und tretbootexkursion zwei bislang mehrmals versuchte, aber unentdeckt gebliebene punkte, unter anderem hinter dem schloss laudon. > geotag-fotostory
